Cheptebo Training & Conference Centre

Located in the spectacular southern Kerio Valley, Elgeyo Marakwet County, the Cheptebo Training and Conference Centre has facilities available for conferences, seminars, workshops, trainings, meetings and private retreats. We are dedicated in offering superb conference and residential facilities in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere for families and groups of any size.

In June 2024 Cheptebo Conference Centre was awarded a Bronze Certificate of Accreditation by Kenya Tourism Regulatory Authority. This certification recognises the quality and excellence of our conference facilities and we congratulate our management and staff for their hard work and dedication in earning this recognition.

Facilities

Conference Halls

Four fully equipped conference halls are available in the recently completed Conference building. These halls can accommodate from 10 up to 200 delegates and various hall layouts can be arranged to suit group requirements.

Data projection equipment is available for hire and internet facilities are available free of charge. The Centre Chaplain is available to lead morning and evening acts of worship.

Main Conference Hall

Our largest hall accommodates up to 200 delegates and is ideal for plenary sessions, large workshops and major training events.

Small Conference Halls

Three smaller halls are perfect for breakout sessions, committee meetings and intimate group workshops from 10 delegates.

AV & Projection Equipment

Data projection equipment is available for hire in all halls, with free Wi-Fi internet access provided to all delegates.

Accommodation

Residential Accommodation

Residential accommodation for up to 100 guests is available in a variety of options. There are single and double rooms, both standard and en suite as well as luxury en suite cottages.

Accommodation is available for groups attending conferences and other events at the Conference centre and accommodation can also be booked for individuals and families for private retreats.

En Suite Rooms

Comfortable en suite single and double rooms with hot water, clean linen and daily housekeeping for a restful stay.

Standard Rooms

Well-appointed standard single and double rooms offering excellent value for conference delegates and retreat guests.

Luxury En Suite Cottages

Spacious luxury en suite cottages set in the peaceful grounds — ideal for families and private retreat guests.

Catering

Our modern, fully equipped kitchen serves a full range of meals and snacks. Fresh produce is sourced from our farm and from local suppliers to produce high quality, delicious meals.

There are two dining halls available and meals and snacks can also be served in attractive outdoor locations on site. All meals must be booked in advance.
