Tender Invitation

A.I.C Cheptebo Rural Development Centre invites sealed tenders for the construction of proposed hostels at A.I.C Cheptebo Agricultural Training & Innovation Centre (CATIC) on Plot LR No. 23748, Cheptebo.

1. Tendering will be conducted under Selective Tender using a standardised tender document. Tendering is open to all invited tenderers.
2. Tenderer must be registered with NCA in Category 6 and above for building works.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours [08:00 – 17:00 hrs] at A.I.C Cheptebo Rural Development Centre, along Iten–Kabarnet Road.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kenya Shillings One Thousand (KES 1,000.00) in cash or via Paybill.
5. Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for Ninety (90) days from the date of opening of tenders.
6. All tenders must be accompanied by a Company Profile, relevant registration documents, and similar projects done previously.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender.

Submission & Opening Details

Physical Delivery: Hand courier delivery to the Tender Box at A.I.C Cheptebo Rural Development Centre, along Iten–Kabarnet Road.

Tenders must be received on or before Wednesday, 18th March 2026 at 12:00 noon. Tenders shall be deposited in the tender box situated at A.I.C Cheptebo Rural Development Centre Offices.

Tenders will be opened on 19th March 2026 at 11:00 am in the presence of bidders or their representatives who wish to witness the opening process.

The Procuring Entity reserves the right to reject any tender without giving reasons and does not bind itself to the lowest bidder.
